Finding local breeders

Hi guys,

I'm living in Horsley which is south of Wollongong and I'm looking for local breeders to purchase from. Can anyone please point me in the right direction or any contacts? Any help would be grateful.

You have now achieve the necessary number of posts to access the Classified section. Try looking through what is currently being adverised for sale, and putting up your own wanted add/s. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi you can also join your local breeder society or club . In Queensland we have qfs (queensland finch society) cheers

In addition to the above, sites like Gumtree and Petlink can help you to find breeders in your area.

I would be very cautious of some of the so called breeders on Gumtree and Petlink,a lot of them buy birds from smaller breeders and sell them as their own ,some even cut off the rings claiming that they bred the birds,do some home work before buying ,but some people are just able to lie to your face and make out they are your best friend when selling birds,garyh

Horsley, as in near Dapto?
If so then you have to join Wollongong Finch Club. It's very active and a heap of members in your area including a few on the forum.

Hi Sam,

Yes Thats right. I have already been invited by Steve an will be there next month.
