My pair of Blue Faced Parrotfinches are extremely active for 90% of the day. This is a feature I really love about them. Will this be maintained or will they slow down a bit as they get older (I hope not)? They are 13 weeks old and in an aviary on their own.
Are Red Faced as active?

Blue face are very active with usually one thing on their mind 
but the hen will burn out very quickly. Usually after less than 3 or 4 seasons.
Red face are a little behind blue face and tend to leave the hen alone a bit more as food becomes more important than sex as they age so you may get a season or two more out of them. Craig
