Finch nest to eggs parrot finches

Hi can somebody tell me how to tell if a nest has eggs I have 3 well built nests from previous suggestions I believe they are tri coloured parrot and pied seagreen parrot finches all nests look similar they are really dense cyclinder a coconut fibres and November grass I can't see in them either from the top of the box or through the entry hole how do I know if there are eggs in there every time I check on the birds I never see any coming out of the boxes and how long after nests are made should there be eggs thanks in advance

The worst thing for any new comer to breeding finches is nest checking. The majority of finches will abandon there eggs/young if you stick your fingers or even look in their nest.
Patience is the key, if you know they are sitting count up the days to roughly the young will fledge which is around 3 to 4 weeks.
