Hi All,
Sad news. Last night finch aviculture globally lost its most eminent ambassador, Russell Kingston OAM. A lifetime of service to aviculture and author of what is essentially our finch "bible". Russell's dry humour along with his cheeky grin and a wink will be long remembered. Terrific for so many of us to spend time with Russell just last weekend at Finches 17.
Russell passed away at home after a heart attack. Our thoughts are with Indra and his family at this difficult time. Further details will follow as they come to hand.

RIP Russell - a big loss to finch aviculture. His books will continue to be his legacy for many many years to come.
