Hi. Does anyone know the current prices of the following finches - Red Headed Parrot Finch, Seagreen Parrot Finch, Gouldians, Stars and Red Cheek Cordon Blue. I am going to the sale at Cessnock in October and want to buy about 40 birds altogether and want some idea of how much money to take.
Thanks Mick.

Just a thought after my last post does anyone living on the Central Coast of NSW think they will have any of the finches I listed, for sale after the end of October. Might save me a trip to Cessnock and the crowd.
Thanks Mick.
Thanks Mick.

Mick...I have nothing to offer at the moment as I'm still in 'accumulation phase' ....my recent breeding results have been abysmal....I have OBWs and RFPFs at nest at the moment but things are slow....plenty of clear eggs though.
Ian...I'm still in hibernation, but when I attend I'll be putting you forward for Recruitment Officer...

Hi Ian. I would be interested in the Orange Breasts but not until probably the end of October. I am still getting rid of my budgies, putting some through auction at Tuggerah next Sunday and the rest the following month. Are singers alright for a mixed aviary, I thought they were pushy.

Yeah they're fine, i've never had a problem. No different from other finches standing their ground when others get too close or approach their nest, but its nothing nasty. Certainly more aggressive species out there !
