How old is she??

Zebs will breed at a very young age......as little as 6 weeks old :o ......an adaptation to living in an arid landscape where rainfall can be extremely unreliable......they are undoubtedly the most widespread and successful finch in Australia, pretty much living everywhere bar the SE Coastal fringe.....they are also our most domesticated bird.....adding to their willingness to breed............

At the end of the day its healthier for the bird, and her young to let her mature before breeding.........say 6months at the very least, but I would think 12 months is wiser......but then again, I'm a party pooper!

She's still got a bit on black on her beak, that should be totally gone in a month or so.
