Let my dogs out in the garden last night as usual, then there was a h... of a racket, I raced out see what was happening. The dogs had cornered a cat between the fence and the vegie patch. They went at each other for a good 1 to 2 mins before I could get the dogs to listen to me. Cat eventually managed to get on top of the fence and ballerina stepped all the way across the back fence. The dogs must have got a few good bites in cos one of my girls has lost a tooth! Have checked the dogs for scratches but nothing, score a point for a big coat (pomeranian) I guess it will be a while before that cat comes back to check out my birds.

My dogs live the life of luxury now, the only exercise they get is chasing cats! Will admit to an extra treat biscuit

We always know by the tone of bark when a cat lands in our yard. And when it leaves.
About 10 seconds later.
Now if we could just let out little doggie idiot into the garage when the roller door is up she could stop that darn tom from #### on the cars. Unfortunately she thinks an open door means run, and I'm, not fit enough to overhaul her.

all you need to do is set up a humane cat trap.
one sheet of tin, one bowl of milk and an extension lead minus the plug on one end. positive wire into the milk, negative onto the tin, cat completes circuit. apparently it has a 100% success rate

Would love to let Axle the wonderdog play with the local ferals here , but have seen dogs lose eyes or get those hideous ulcers from cat scratches.
Now that smartalec crow that keeps pinching his bickys well thats another matter , he needs a bit of Staffy action.
Best cat deterrent Ive seen is the pair of Dutch Rabbits I bought for the grandkids for easter ( more another way to irk the son in law ) they see a cat and near go through the rabbit hutch to get at the cat.
Thats enough to keep the strays at bay.
