I'd like some advice about leg rings please. I bought some rings for my Gouldians from a specialist leg ring supplier, but the numbers are wearing off quickly.
These are split plastic with numbers printed on them, but after 2 months on the birds the numbers have almost gone. Can someone please help me with a recommended supplier? Thanks.

Any birds I intend to keep I fit numbered split aluminium rings.
The number is punched into the ring so if the white powder coat rubs off there is still a number on close inspection.
The rings I use come with purpose made pliers to fit them so they stay round and don't damage the leg when you put them on.
Unfortunately my supplier has retired and I haven't seen the same ones anywhere else. Luckily I overstocked years ago
