Hi all.
Long term lurker, first time poster.
Seems like a strange way to be joining the Forum by announcing my departure from finch breeding after many decades of toil.
Encroaching suburbia (read lousy neighbours ) coupled with Council regulations mean a hasty end to my years in Aviculture.
My years of Red Siskin breeding are coming to an end and with that, the drama of finding a responsible home for approximately 15 pairs of these Avian delights.

Sorry to hear that.
If you were there with the birds 1st the neighbours should but out.
Unfortunately some Council regs are counter productive to pleasant living - or we would all have big blocks without our neighbours sitting on top of us.
