Hello All,
Just introducing myself, a newly introduced Finch Fan and new brood.
I brought myself a few weeks ago a second hand aviary. A dome type with a flight running from the side. A good start i think as one starts somewhere. I just wish i hadnt sold my other aviary years ago when my Budgies took flight after a massive storm tipped it A* up....
But now i have my aviary, and have just recently brought myself two pairs of Gouldians. A yellow faced normal pair and a black faced normal pair. The black pair are starting to show interest in the nesting box, the male stands gaurd on the top and shoo's away any threat. The pair are building a nest! Yay. Fingers crossed they breed. Alot to learn, but its all trial and error, with the help of much reading and learning from other peoples experiences.
