well dont you hate it.goulds go to nest.your in luck bingo babies 5 in one nest,a few in another.then SUMMER heat strikes back with a vengance..forecast 42 today 41 tommorow BUGGER poor buggers.been out with the hose trying to keep cages a bit cooler.looks like summer is here for a bit longer. lucky im of work for 5 days,so i can try to keep them cooler..im praying for the little buggers......... :?

tell me about it.....
3 clutches of orange breasts, 2 lost two clutches to heat and one to ants, they are not giving up though, hen is sitting on eggs now. fingers crossed.

hi paul have you got shade cloth on top of your aviary, that will help keep them a bit cooler. not only hot weather we are supposed to get storms as well....pete

hi pete, yes i have fully covered in shade cloth,also tinted alsinite sheeting,cant spell i no haha bamboo blinds which i keep wet :)
