Congrat on the babies, its hard to get them out of the nest when Im home all day to hose down the aviary during heatwaves. You did well.
Ive lost two clutches of OB's to heat, but they have babies now and I have heard them cheeping away for a few days now. I have made a point of not checking, so I dont know exactly when they were hatched...will have to work backwards from fledging.

Paul I know what you mean about the heat on this side of the country, I am about 500kms north of you and 5degrees hotter on average, and my lot keep looking in the nests and adding materials, but the furtherest anyone has got is a couple of eggs. Then abandoned to the heat, think some of them are boiled eggs.
