So does anyone have any gouldian hatchlings yet? I think I have 1 pair with some good eggs this time around. Fingers crossed! As usual, my other pair has about 10 clear eggs I need to throw out. Quite frustrating but at least they are showing signs.

Not yet (she says with fingers crossed!) There are four pairs with eggs so hopefully soon.

I have 5 hatchlings from a white breasted yellow pair - it is their first time as parents so I am a bit nervous for them!
( some surprise painted babies in the aviary and four little red cheeked cordon babies from first timers also now almost independant - hoping the gouldians follow on )

I have a hatchling. I tempted fate and had a sneak peek after hearing some screeching.
Only one, but this is the first time this pair has sat.
I am pretty happy at the moment, with that.

To rub it in further, I have fledged and weaned 22 young goulds with lots more eggs and chicks. Also fledged 3 young Tri-colours yesterday and the hen has already layed her first egg in a new nest, 3 pairs of st helenas with eggs/chicks, black headed nuns nesting, tri nuns due to hatch any day and painted finches sitting on eggs. Love this time of year!
