I am fast running out of space in my aviary as the birds are all fledging young.
What is the go with transporting young gouldians?
I don't have enough space at my place for another aviary so I'm going to build one at my parents to hold my young only problem is they live 2hrs away. Is this a bad idea?

you can buy mini carry cages for like $5 or if there are only a few birds to transport get cardboard boxes. Or just buy a smallish cage and put them in there. a couple hours shouldn't hurt them. Just make sure they dont tip over!
I have moved houses many times with my parrots, pigeons, budgies and much more and i am moving house again and have my finches to transport now plus all the other animals. And better the babies go to somewhere nice where you know they will be looked after and not at a pet store for months or until someone takes them

They'll be fine for a couple of hours, i prefer to use a carry cage thats big enough so they're not cramped but also not so big that they'll be tempted to fly.
Keeping: fresh air 😅

If done correctly you will have no problems at all.A carry box as said would be best.Or a receptacle which is not to large so they fly into the sides at speed,or get their heads caught in wire bars.also seed and water available would be good if they are going to be in it for a while,A small container in the cage with water and cotton wool in it to stop the water spilling.
