Just a short note on myself. We ,that is my children and I had finches and budgies for years while the children were growing up. They have all moved from home now, so no birds at the moment. My name is Peter.

I now deal in traps for all animals, after a fox took our chickens, including mice.

Welcome. Don't let the kids moving out take your hobby away. Just keep finches for yourself, like i do. Though the Menaginree in general is smaller than when the kids were home and adding critters to it.
