I'm about to write an article for the Australian Birdkeeper's 'Syd Smith Memorial young birdkeeper's writing competition'

There are just too many things to write about! anyone got any suggestions? I'm thinking maybe a species article (it can be on any avicultural theme), but maybe that would be too hard to prove the info is all mine...

other previous winners have mostly written articles about themselves and their setups, but I thought something different may be a good idea, don't want it to look like i'm copying anyone.

anyone?

History of Aviculture in Australia? How to improve the laws in Australia to better facilitate the survival of Aviculture?
Good luck with whatever you decide.

These are all great ideas, thanks everyone! :)

I decided to write an article on the genus Uraeginthus the blue and purple waxbills.

If you like Bluebutterfly, I'll send it to you for the newsletter when I'm done?
