Hi all, new to birds, again, used to have finches way back when I was a young tacker, but got involved in breeding tropical fish. Took me 30 yers to work out it was too much work, lol. I want to keep a few birds again now, for enjoyment purposes only at this stage, though maybe I will have a crack at breeding a few again down the track, just can't help myself.
Looking forward to getting to know you all (and picking your brains ), regards, Mick.
G'day all, from CQ

Hi and welcome to the forum.
It is amazing how many people who have finches also have or have had fish. (she says as she types facing the fish tank

Welcome and you keep telling yourself you are only going to keep a few for pleasure. Then next year when you are completely obsessed.
Good idea to put your location in your profile.

Lol, thanks everyone, yeah I know I will eventually get more into it, just have to warm the missus to it. At least she has been helping build the aviary. I started with 1 x 4' fish tank and ended up with a shed full, mainly african cichlids. Still have most of my tanks but none have water in. So knowing me the same will happen with the birds, lol.
