I went down to see the kids for 3 days and came home to. 1 dead Orange breasted cock. Anyone in the City got one I can buy off them next week when I come back down? The nest of Bengos and the nest of Zebs (fancy) had both fledged. 2 of the 3 Bengo chicks were dead one on the floor and one had gone swimming in the water bowl. The Zebs are fine. Think the fledglings must of not gone back in their nest and sucumed to the cold. Blowed if I can see why the Orange Brested cock died but. The perils of winter.
