I bought 2 pairs of green singers last year. From a lady who's husband was a breeder ( sadly passed away). 1 pair has layed 7 eggs from two attemps other pair layed 3 eggs on 1st .. Yet not one has been fertile. Could it b young birds or old . Could it b also the males r no good..

Yeah it may be that they are young or the cold, but rest them up now for a couple of months on an austerity diet, the Males may be a little overweight if they have been on a Good diet since you recd them, even seperate the cocks from the hens and and ramp them back up at the end of august and put them back together in september.
