hi All

Just a very late note to let people living in Adelaide know that the yearly Zebra Federation meeting will be in Adelaide today. It is being held at the Haven Inn at Glenelg and all the best zebra finches from around Australia will be there. An ad will be in today's Advertiser giving the details. If you are interested in having a look call in.

I will try and write a report later, with some pictures :D :D :D

I'm off now to help be a steward for the judges ;)

Spoke with a number of guys from WA yesterday, they came second overall.

New South Wales won the day in the end.

The Eastern states have a tendancy to win most bird shows no matter what the type of birds. Number do help. Us poor little low population West Aussies have to be twice as good to win. :( Particularly after travelling all that way. Banana benders and Taswegens also have distance to contend with. Would have been great to see but.

I will give credit , where credit is due buzz. We West Aussies can't win everything, even if the birds had to fly all the way there by themselves. Well done to the winners.....pete

Fincher is right, the WA team has won I think 9 times, so you would have to say they were favorites to take it out.

Great group of people though, with a heap of knowledge and experience.

Two of the guys from WA have produced a really great book on keeping the Zebra Finch. I will see if I can get a link up for it, if the moderators are ok with this??

I cant see a problem with that, we have a Book and Links section where several books have been linked.
