I have had another clutch of Black Headed Gouldians fledge. I now have 8 young black heads reared this year. The parent birds are very good breeders. The cock bird is very friendly as I can feed him grass seeds when I'm in the cage.

Once all young have their bright colours I will sell most and maybe purchase mates for the ones I keep.

I noticed last week that the Blue faced Parrot finches are also feeding the latest young Gouldians. I never expected this.

The Blue faced finches have completed build their nest (a wooden Box I made) with grasses and grass nesting materialpurchased. I saw them mating this afternoon. Hopefully they will breed some young.

I will take some pics of the cage and the young and post on this site.

Ron.
