Not happy , Tree falls on road pert near on car as we were driving , we went through the tree ...cars a total loss Princess Milly went into shock no hire car available till tomorrow so home without car and no alcohol .... pizza ordered kids convinced we are OK . What a day .
Oh and $140 to get form Wello to Dubbo thanks NRMA ask me again about hire car options. :(
And the only reason we are OK is because the air bags did not deploy how lucky was that little malfunction.

I took the hire car option, when I went to use it they wanted me to fork out a deposit, so I told them where to shove it. Was on the Gold Coast at the time, about 250 km from home. Got towed to tweed, and got my brother to pick me up.

Assessor will be out Tuesday , NRMA office at Wello says its a write off just need it in writing ..Yeah were OK and as for the hire car option $700 deposit plus plus plus ...will be taking that of the insurance premiums as it didnt help us at all really coz we still have to pick it up 15 ks out of town and we were stuck in Wello with shocked dog and diabetic partner not good at all.
Now have to rely on mates for a lift to the car and anyone who knows me knows I never ask for favours ...

Yeah g/friend was only too happy guess when they dont get asked for favours all the time they dont mind anyhoo its all sorted out bar the red tape , Im sure that will get the tears of frustrations flowing .

You got the frustration part right, when I had my accident, it took me a month just to get them to approve the repairs, and another 3 to get the car back, will admit it is slightly modified, but even so, I ended up sourcing half of the parts, & even forked out for a new guard myself, & it's still not right 2 years on.

With this much damage Im glad it is a write off , they dont seem the same after a big repair job. Plus you never seem to get the little bits of glass totally out of the car.
