I finaly got my gouldians 2 days ago..had to wait for the breeding cage to be built and they were held.they are great and touch wood seem in very good health.There is a very handsome cock and his 2 ladies ,one of whom is a bit bald .but still realy lovely looking birds.They are enjoying having a bath and swings esp Mr as he never gets off swing!!!..Funny realy as when they first saw swing they were terrified .
He seemed indifferent to his girls until the crack of dawn this morning ...(I have to put the divider in breeding cage at night as there is a huge gap bettween bars where it gos and I worry cat can grab them or something when im not here )last night he was determend to sleep on his beloved swing so he got seperated and this morning he went crazy calling over and over to his girls ,gosh he has a call!!!.Only calmed down when I raced out of bed to move divider so he could be with his girls.I see tonight all 3 are looking like they will roost on swing.Also got 2 pale carimal manequins that are in there as well but so far all are ignoring the 2 nest boxs,even the manequins .My brown maniquins are crazy nesters so im a bid disapointed these guys are so different,but they get on fine with the Gouldians :D
