help my male quail was plucked

what do i do i took him out of the small aviary and i put him in a cage with water and seed and covered it with 2 towels the female hasn't done this before?

Sorry don't know. But it sounds like you have done the right thing. Let him recover then re-introduce him and watch them.

Yes I agree, give it a chance to recover. Wow, I thought it was the males that plucked the females, didn't realise they females can get that way too...

and when i put her into the little aviary thats when she started attacking him and what about the male everyday i have seen him have sex with the female everyday?

Maybe she was upset at having less space, or maybe he was being too attentive and she got angry with him. Or maybe a bit of both.
