I need to separate my BFPF and RTPF cocks and hens to give them a break. Are the BF and the RT cocks ok being housed together? No other species in the flight with them.
The hens Im not worried about one will stay where she is in the Hen harem, the other would be going in with a couple of gouldian hens.

Interesting one,I have not kept both at the same time. But personally cant see a problem with keeping the same sex in the same aviary, without the opposite sex.

No problems at all. I have kept RF, BF and tri colours in single sex aviaries during non breeding period without a problem
