fairy/swamp grass

gday all went to lake mokoan today to get some fairy /swamp grass for my birds to use in nest building but lucked out to much water does anybody on here know where i could get some in victoria ,or is it a matter of just to much water eveywhere and maybe i just have to wait till after xmas

there is a guy near Melbourne who usually has LOTS of swamp grass for sale if you want to buy it... PM me for details.
I'd sell you some myself if you were closer :D

yes we have tons of it up here. In fact 2 weeks ago QFS had a swamp grass / Johnston grass picking day - great fun and quite a long convoy on rout. Not much water but plenty of ummm, cow "landmines" to dodge lol

You will have to wait untill about Jan or Feb next year,When all the swamps have dryied up.I to am out but $40 a bag is a bit to pay for it.Though it is a bit of work collecting.

Now that would be a sight to see on the roadside!

I need to go pick some november grass myself shortly, just finished my last bag.
