Buzzard-1 I live in a Mediterranean island (Menorca), the weather is mild
Now we are in winter but temperatures rarely drop below 10 º

Welcome, it sounds like you live in a very beautiful part of the world.

On your website (do you have an English version?) you have a Black Cheeked Zebra Finch!

Did you breed this? I have been trying to locate some in Australia, however all the black cheeks here go away after the first moult. So we still do not have a good specimen.

It is my intention to try and breed some pure Light Back Black Cheek as I think this is a stunning bird!

I know you cannot breed BC to BC to get BC chicks. You must breed BC to Split or BC to Black Face / Black front / black body etc. Then only 50% will be BC, the rest will be split to BC.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
