mine is a king quail female it even survived heat stroke how cool is that

A 10 year old Male red headed Gouldian, i bred this bird, i put the extended life down to him having his own 12' x 4' x 8' aviary for the last 3 years of his life.
Next Door neighbours 22 year old Cockatiel died xmas day 2010.

In the latest birdkeeper there's a paragraph on a pair of Red-Tailed black cockies at age 75 and still going - though for that species I guess it's not that unusual
