I'm Nick from Italy, i breed mostly canaries and european goldfinches.

I love both canaries and goldfinches, though I have never kept canaries and I've only looked after goldfinches for a friend :P

Hi Nick welcome to the AFF. Interesting use of materials for making a nest.Could be very handy if you lived in a fishing village.

Welcome to the forum. I think I'll stick to mixed wooden boxs rather than go coiling the rope for my canaries. But good on you.

Canaries prefers nest like bowl more than a wood box, it is more close to nest they make into the wild.... :think:
