Although I do prefer E Orix's answer I guess I should give the reason for the post numbers jumping around in the past week.
The reason is me
I've been trying to streamline some of the forum areas.
You may have noticed that finch profiles no longer exists, the profiles are now included under the headings Australian Finches' 'Foreign Finches' and 'Softbills, Weavers & Whydahs'.
Each species has it's own area. For example if you go to Australian finches you can choose any of our native species and it has it's own forum. There is also a section for non specific questions, by that I mean questions that cover more than one species of bird.
During this time of change, posts were copied and moved to their new home. This caused an increase in members post count as some posts doubled up.
Once the new sections of the forum were ready to be viewed the old sections were deleted, which brought members post numbers back down to the correct levels.
