Hi All,
Just went and bought myself a brand new hardback copy off ebay.
so I was wondering, has anyone else got this book? did they find it easy to read?
y the way, I was amazed to see it was only $98AUD (including shipping), as it's usually around $150, or better yet $200 with shipping... and this one was in the UK!!!
There are 2 copies left for sale, so if anyone's interested... http://cgi.ebay.com/Encyclopedia-Avicul ... 7080a#shId" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
looking forward to my 800-and-something pages of goodness :D :D :D and that's volume one!

well it just arrived :D :D :D :D :D
and I have to say, this looks like one of the most thorough and most detailed books on aviculture I've ever seen. 832 pages from penguins to owls, eagles to quail, mousebirds to waders, finches to parrots.
I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this :D :D

It's a great book for all those species that aren't common in aviculture, but are more common in zoos worldwide... a great way to round off your avicultural knowledge!!

The author is also a hell of a nice guy and very knowledgeable, but he has got many breeders experienced in their particular species to contribute.

Well bought Jayburd- you got it for a bargain- money well spent!
