Hi, Thought I would post some photos of the baby zebs 7 days on.There eyes have now opened and starting to get feathers on their wings. They are getting BIGGER and beg quite loudly now. The fawn coloured one was the smallest but is now nearly as big as the others as you can see in the photos the crops blow up like balloons I think when they all starting begging it's hard to get the food into all quickly. It looks like the crops are full of air it does go down though looks pretty grouse.I am feeding them 4 to 5 times a day and they seem pretty happy with that.My new flight which is 15ft by 5ft coming off my aviary will be finished in about a week. Will post some photos pretty excited about it and can't wait to see how the finches will react as it has 4 trees and lots of grasses planted which at the moment have lots of seeds on them. Some people cannot understand how I can be so obsessed with my finches only us aussie finch forum people would understand. :D

As much as they make me think of something that exploded out of Sigourney Weavers belly in the Alien movies , they still are kinda cute :D
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

You are so right Deb, my daughter-in-law said when she first saw them they look like they belonged on a skewer.
