I think I have solved a problem,I had 2 new emblas and double bars in with 2 pairs of gouldians.I noticed wherever the poor double bars nested next thing there was a gould in it insted which was annoying me as I dont think it was the double bars choice
The emblas were always on the floor(I guessed they liked it there).about an hour ago I seperated the goulds and all of a sudden the emblas have got up on a perch and even used the swing..Im thinking there must have been some issues I didnt see with those blooming goulds!!!

Gouldians can be very overbearing , ive found the Emblemas are so easy going they tend to be bullied by the Goulds and go to the ground as a means to deal with conflict / stress .
Without the Gouldians in there harassing everyone you will see some normality return to the dynamics of the aviary .

Gouldians are an awesome looking bird but honestly their behaviour can let them down at times . ( Just my opinion )
