Leg Rings

Im not shore if it should be in Breeding finches.
What would you recommend I do with some code thing of leg rings on my finches?

Is it easier to have numbers on them or just colour?

there are some really good threads on this, try searching the forums. My personal view is that the numbers are not very helpful without catching birds everytime you want to identify them. Some ppl use a system where each colour corresponds to a number from 1 to 10. This is good if you have a large number of birds. We are now thinking of a compromise by getting a few colours and having different combinations of R or L and single or both legs in different colours.
