Jay are you proposing any of the following:
1) Export of birds from somewhere
2) Import of said birds into Australia
3) Restricting importation to a single bird (Thus forcing interspecific interspecific hybredization)
4) Taking advantage of some poor guy that doesn't know the value of their birds

Well spotted young man!!!!!!!..................Chaffies are $10/pair in NZ too!!!!
Just to really annoy you we found Violet-ears for sale for $160/pair the other day........guess its horses for courses as I know many of our Sth African bretheren would give a heap of them for a pair of Bloods.........
Think Dybowskis twinspots were around the same price............sigh!!!!!
Ah well..........we can but dream............go ahead with your import and we'll make sure someone from the forum drops in and says hello every Sunday for visiting hours at the clink!!!!!!!!
