Hi i have had an extrmemly bad breeding year this year. tops it off.
I have them nesting and laying eggs but they either reject the eggs or they dont hatch altogether. my goldfinch pair are a complete loss this year as i cant seem to pair them up.
Im thinking of just jacking it in this year. putting them into a flight. get them used to the holla ballu of the household, get them in good condition for later in the year or next year.
Its been an awfull year.
Failed nests all year so far

Some years are like that, and some are gems. But it sounds like you have the right attitude. Sit back think about what you can change for the better and be nice to your birds in the meantime.

Tiaris, can you see where Howldaloom is.... good old UK.
Shouldnt the breeding season be just kicking in there?
hope things improve soon for them.
