Sorry i have not had much experience at these sites but what does it mean when someone asks you to pm them? I'll do it once i learn what it means, sorry to keep you waiting Buzzard-1.

pm = private message
You can find the link for the pm under your name at the left hand side, it has a little head and shoulders icon and pm next to it. click on that and it will take you to a page where you can write a private message to any of the members on the forum.
You will have to make the required 5 posts before the private message part of the forum will work for you, but after 5 posts you will also find a lot more forum is available too.
