Im just wondering how common are they? I haven't seen them around for a
long time. How much would a pair set you back in Victoria or a cock?

I had some last year but moved them on to make way for other birds.I know a few people that have them ,no great success in breeding though.

So NSW is the place to find them. Do you know why they haven't had much success with breeding?
You wouldn't happen to know how much they cost a pair or just for a cock bird?

I have 4 young BFPF - 1 week out of the nest, they sell for about $80 a pair here in NSW.
Once they get going they're easy to breed just like Zebras you can't stop them.
