Sprayed a old breeding cage over the weekend with Enamel,will this be ok for the birds,canaries,gouldians...........
I think a local breeder said to wipe it over with vinegar.
The product has no Xylene and Toluene in it if that helps.

Don't think it would be a problem with finches. It's budgies and parrotts and cockies who you have to be very careful with because of their tendancy to chew and possibly ingest the paint.

What the breeder meant was to wipe prior to painting, to remove any loose or oxidized gal. as far as the paint go's its a carry over from the lead paint days.Brett wrote:I think a local breeder said to wipe it over with vinegar.
