Thinking of putting single canary in with my finches as I have heard they can calm flighty finches down a little and get them to green food if they show little interest in it.
What do you think ??

A lot of people run a canary or two to train finches to eat new foods.

For that purpose a pair of red-faced Parrotfinches would work just as well. Canaries can be very dominant toward passive finches & are a common host for air sac mite.

I could write a species description, if that's okay.
Canaries were my first finch, and I had also wondered why they had no page.
Avid amateur aviculturalist; I keep mostly australian and foreign finches.

I am sure it would be well received.
