I wanted to share some pics of my finches. Please let me know if you recognise any colour mutations. I am not up on the genetics of birds so any help would be great!

Thanks! I have looking at birds in pet shops and i swear mine are soooo much better! These babies are the best i have bred! 6 out of the one nest! still have 12 to fledge.

Definitely keep that little fawn one with the white going through his wings. He's a beauty.

I reckon the dad could be the zeb in the pic below that fawn one, check out the white splodge on the head of both birds!

Yup, the grey pied zeb male in the pic (with the sploge on its head) is the dad and mum is the Marked white with him. They are the parents of the 6. There are 2 plain fawns a grey, 2 marked whites and the fawn pied.
