Hi everyone i work in a animal lab and we feed Ensure to mice that are young or sick.
Its a human supplent used for sick people or people finding it hard to eat. I was just wondering if this
could be a good additive to my soft food mix to help with the early growth?
Ensure is it safe for birds?

Yeah im not gonna feed it unless i know its safe i was just curious if anyone has thought of it before? I guess its similar to baby formula where there is alot of nutrients in it. I was thinking to mix a little bit in with some normal soft food.Misso wrote:not sure mate.... wouldn't risk feeding it to birds, not knowing its effect.... id stick to a good soft food mix or ask someone at work if its been used on birds before????

Should be perfectly safe. It is safe for human consumption and I doubt it contains any ingredients that are not safe for birds. Can you post the nutritional analysis? I'm guessing you might need to add some extra protien at least...
