parrot finch beak growth

Hi, any advice would be appreciated, our little parrot finch has some sort of soft growth at the base of her beak. Any ideas as to what this could be and how to treat it?

What type of birds do you keep?

I predominantly breed Indian Ringnecks but we have a finch aviary with a few different breeds of finches and gouldians,
