Very ordinary start to the day here .
Just found my male Scarlet up side down in the nest dead ( very bloodied and messy about the head ) , eggs smashed and the girl badly shaken .

Bourkes are looking at me with that " we didn't do it " look which puts them high on the suspect list .

Bloody dizzy Diamond Doves have eggs in a nest made of half a dozen pieces of twig that is teetering on the edge of a beam :roll:

Quarrions are carrying on like pork chops :crazy: cant decide which nest box they want .

Heads up the Musks have 2 eggs and didn't try and take my eyes out when I did a nest inspection . :thumbup:
Bourkes have more fuzz balls in the nest .
Grey pied RRs are on more eggs , that makes 3 clutches so calcium d3 has been added .
Lutino RR sitting tight still .
Purple Crowns still rearranging furniture in the nest box.
Princess parrots ready for nest box a bit early , looking good .
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

What other parrots are in with the Scarlets? sounds like someone else wanted that nest box.

Bourkes who already have a nest with fuzzies in there .
Diamonds have a nest ( sorta )
Princess Parrots ....... hmmm bit early I thought but wont hurt to get other half to whack it in .

Is the entrance hole big enough for the Princess parrots to get in. If so I'd agree with Nathan.

Just busted the bloody Princess's trying to squeeze into the nest box ....Im watching like a hawk till 5.30 when other half finishes work , then a big princess size box is going in .

Its already built just going to be a long afternoon I think . Actually might cage them for the afternoon in case they go after the Bourkes nest box which has fuzzies in it .

I would remove the princess parrots from that aviary immediately if they have killed one small parrot they are likely to kill more.

Agree with Nathan. Now you've busted them, I'd get them out now. I'd say the the bourke's fuzzies are in "near and present danger".
