fly box update

here are a few photos of my fly box setup, which is going really well. just took some trial and error for a week or two but is now running smoothly. the stocking entrance is working really well. also a photo of the primary maggot eater. since the fly box has gone in the painteds have built a nest and have young in nest

Can you put up a photo of how you've done the door??

i bought the box from dave in finch news and he has done the door so the stocking can be easily replaced. the stocking has been done the same as the front screen, and the frame is held in by screws. there is a good photo in my older post "fly box and other goodies".Danny wrote:Can you put up a photo of how you've done the door??

he is a nice bird and devoted father, when hes not on the nest he sits in the same spot keeping an eye on the nest. there is a really good photo of him in the photo competition section, i think i got the 2nd prize!!!vettepilot_6 wrote:That is a good looking Painted![]()
