I have a day off today. No birds at home, so how do I get a quick bird fix. 6.30 am too early to phone a friend? I look out the window to see a family of wrens and silver eyes in the backyard. Suddenly, the pulse races followed by a calming effect over the whole body. This bird HIGH will only last for so long and yet I am looking for the next fix already. Yep I think I am addicted to birds.

Does anyone else get like this when ever they go on holidays, go away for the weekend or travel for work?

Buy/build a cabinet and get a pair of bengos/zebs this will fix your obsession and when your able to build your aviery then the obsession can be done to the max. I do feel sorry that you haven't got any finches as I would be going crazy.
