Hi to all and sundry my name is jef and at present living in seaford south of Adelaide right on the coast patiently waiting for summer to arrive.........I have recently inherited two unloved painted fire-tails and know next to nothing about finches or even about keeping caged birds, We also have a 10mth old paleface cockatiel ......Bigtime newbie no nothing thats me ....but I do have a great passion for birds in the wild and photography and have spent months at a time bush camping and photographing birds and wildlife in general and am looking forward to learning about finches and the folk who keep them....cheers jef

Hi and welcome to the forum from another Adelaide resident.
Looking at the background you have supplied for the rescued finches already I'm sure they will be living the easy life now.
After 5 posts you will find more of the forum to read including the newsletters, the classifieds section and a merchandise section..
