Hi,

I'm from Perth, and is very much interested in keeping finches. I've had a parrot and a few budgies a while back. Had to get rid of them as I moved countries. I'm looking for a good aviary that is at least 3m wide 1m deep and abt 1.8m high. bigger ones are also ok as long as its not way off those measurements. I've been looking on the internet for some Aviaries and the best I came across are the ones from shedspot. But they worry me as they don't have a safety door.

Can anyone point me to the right direction as to where I might be able to get a good aviary in Perth without spending a lot of money.

Otherwise if there are any articles out there that can help me make my own aviary using materials that I can buy from bunnings etc, please let me know. Meanwhile I will also be looking for them myself.

Thanks in Advance

Hi and welcome to the forum, if you build your own you'll be able to build it exactly the way you need it.

hey thx all.

I think I am going to make my own to the right dimensions. Looks like it will work out cheaper than buying one.

Welcome to the forum. Building your own is always good. Or you could check out the Quokka adds. Then build the 2nd one. :silent: As you will become addicted and need another soon.

Hey thx for that..thats a good idea. Currently I'm trying to convince everyone in the family. I think if I get a smaller one now, it will grow on them and would be more open to letting me keep a bigger aviary if they start breeding :)
