Black Cheeked Zebra in Australia?

Are the black cheeked mutations of the zebra finch in Australia? If so, how much do they usually cost? They are such a pretty little bird, I really like the look of them!
Birds, Drumming, Vegetarianism, Animal Welfare, dogs, animals, and books :)

Unfortunately not. I think they used to a long time ago but got lost somewhere down the track. I like you would die for some.

Up until 2 years ago a bloke in Gunnedah had them I had them myself 8 to 10 years ago they pop up in sales every now and then!!

Wow!! AMCA26 definately has to know about this one!! Do you know of anyone currently that has them for sale??

No I don't, spose I could make some inquiries, I used them to try to develop blacks.

I have always been told by specialist zebra breeders that they are extinct in australia. I mean that's pretty rare to have them in that case. I would lovvvvvvvveeee to get my hands on some. :D
