Folowing on from the post I was just reading about birds being given away only to find out they were quite rare , I was wondering what bird boo boos have other people made in the past ?
Ill start ...apart from the usual learning curves one has in this hobby I must say the one that made me cringe was hearing that the Kakariki pair that just couldnt get their eggs to hatch so I sold ,have not long ago raised 4 healthy young ...not so bad except they threw 2 cinnamin and ..wait for it ...its painful ... 2 bloody Lutinos .
Kinda regret that one now .

When I first started breeding birds, I kind of got into this frenzied idea of selling most of my zebras. I sold 4 of them, and had only two left. Then I realised I hardly had any birds left so had to buy more.

None specifically, just from reading up on the subject before going ahead.....must have been old books. When I finally took the plunge I went by the recommendation of the guys @ Camsal Aviaries.
